Legends Hall is located at the corner of North Texas Boulevard and Sycamore Street, directly across from the Pohl Recreation Center. Available to upperclassmen residents, Legends residents have the choice of living in either private single occupancy rooms with suite cooking areas or in single occupancy rooms.
Located at the epicenter of the Mean Green Village, the North Texas Athletic Center is a 45,000-square foot facility that provides under one roof an array of features for the education, strength, conditioning and medical treatment of the Mean Green’s student-athletes, as well as the administration of the North Texas Athletic Department.
Behind the north end zone is one of Apogee Stadium’s two signature features, giant wing-shaped grandstands which echo the shape of the Mean Green’s eagle logo.
Apogee’s other distinguishing characteristic is its unique green ecological design. Apogee Stadium is the first newly-constructed college football stadium in the nation to be awarded a LEED Platinum Certification, the highest level of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design status
North Texas boasts one of the few volleyball-only facilities in the region with its Mean Green Volleyball Center .
The Mean Green Volleyball Band plays at each match, which adds to the boisterous atmosphere
12-court facility that's home to the Mean Green women's tennis team and is in close proximity to the Athletic Center's Strength and Conditioning Center and Sports Medicine facilities and to the Victory Hall student-athlete residences.
As one of the top facilities in the region, Waranch Tennis Complex has hosted multiple conference championships.

Offers private and double rooms with ensuite bathrooms and the largest lobby of all of the University's residence halls. Has two large courtyards with barbecue grills and a fire pit. Inside, there is a computer lab, a kitchenette, a media room with theater-style seating, classrooms, laundry facilities and a lounge seating area.

The Mean Green strength and conditioning program operates from a 7,000 square-foot weight room in the Athletic Center. The space is filled with the newest technology in athlete performance and overseen by a staff of high-qualified professional strength and conditioning coaches. The advancement of the program over the last few years has also helped to drastically reduce injuries as well as speed up recovery time during rehabilitation.
UNT student-athletes are given every tool to be successful in the classroom and it has paid off.
The combined cumulative GPA for Mean Green student-athletes in the spring of 2020 was 3.46 - the highest ever for the department.
Every UNT team was above a 3.0 GPA in the spring of 2020.
The holistic development of the student-athlete at North Texas includes providing the opportunity to learn from successful people in various walks of life. We provide regular motivational and inspirational speakers to help navigate their path to success beyond their time at UNT.

UNT provides many ways to stay in shape, unwind and have a little fun -- whether it’s taking a turn on the Pohl Rec Center’s Climbing Wall, cheering on the Mean Green, or playing a pick up game.
There are more than 1,500 performances, exhibitions and lectures are offered by students and faculty annually. There are several student services, student organizations, leadership opportunities and Greek Life available on campus.

North Texas has earned 133 conference championships in 12 different sports, including 36 since 2000.
The football program has produced 75 NFL draft picks and has played in postseason bowl games in three of the last four years.
The men's basketball program just won its 19th conference championship in 2020.
The soccer program has won 16 conference championships, including six straight and has made 17 NCAA postseason appearances.
The men's golf program has won four National Championships and placed several players on the PGA Tour.
Two former Mean Green athletes have participated in the Olympic Games.
